to a synagogue as soon as it is finished being written.
Over 7 years ago a terrorist attack blew up a bus in Jerusalem killing many. In late 2009 a new Torah finished being written in memory of a 23 year old Mother and her year old son who were killed in that attack. She left behind a daughter and a Husband who reside in Jerusalem today.
7 Years later over one thousand Jews from her small local Moshav (town) were present to dance and celebrate the finishing of this new Torah. It was emotional and it was inspiring. It was an event that shows what Israel is all about. The beautiful part is, there is probably many events like this weekly here in Israel; celebrating a new Torah for one reason or another.
